quick update

On tuesday I was fired from my job. I will tell u all about it later, right now I am still trying to figure out what happened... so Adam said "lets go to Idaho for christmas". We jumped in the car at 830pm on the 23rd and made it to Pocatello at Midnight on the 24th. As soon as we got here (and I mean AS SOON AS we got here) a huge blizzard came in and shut all the highways down. We had a christmas miracle getting here and have been enjoying the snow and down time.

its hard to beleive but Adam deploys in 10 to 14 days. I am not looking forward to it. But now that I am not working, I am flying to Alaska on the 16th of Jan. to be with Mindy and the family for a few weeks after Adam leaves.

I will write more later, and tell u about the job and post pics.

Once more...

I have gotten sick. At work bronchitis is being passed around and last night after the during the church christmas party I started to feel sick and sure enough I woke up this morning with it. I feel like someone just ran me over and since that is the case, this carcass needs to be buried!

Thanks to all of you who participated in the "real or fake tree" survey. After much talking Adam and I decided to get a real one. This will be our first real tree in 11 years of marriage! And since he wont be here for next years christmas he wanted a real one. Now when will we get it? perhaps after christmas by the way things are going around here! busy busy busy!

We love to keep people employed this time of year! as was the case today at the post office, 12 boxes to family and $150.00 later we left the post office and I felt dirty! Is it just me or does anyone else feel this way?

Well I am off to lay down for yet another long winters nap! I had a 3 hour one earlier and am ready for bed! To my friends and family who are traveling please be careful and have a safe trip.

Some things we saw while in Austin...

I wish I was able to get these on picture but here are some of the funny things I saw while on the Toy Run in Austin....

1. An Etheopian Restaraunt... Wonder what they serve there, they seemed closed and desertted...

2. A store that sold "Affordable Coffins" unfortunatly it was a Motorcyle store... hmmm deep thoughts!

3. A "cowboy" standing on the corner eating an ice cream. He was dresssed to the nines in cowboy attire. The funny thing is it was 60 degrees today....

Toy Run

Adam and I and some friends went on a Toy Run for an Austin Childrens Center. There were TONS of bikes Tons of people, but it was fun and we had a great time. Here are some pics of the day.

Playing catch up so bear with me!

Tabitha and Chris (Chris's son drove 4 ladies thru the lights) Not pictured is me and Sherry. (Sorry Sherry none of your pics turned out)

SO I started work this past week after not working for about 3 months. It has been the hardest thing to get my lazy butt up in the morning but at least I am so exhausted by the time I get home that I go to sleep with hardley any pushing from Adam!

I started with 3 people (including myself) one didnt show, and one was let go on wednsday. So I guess that means I am still good since they let me "move" my office/ desk decorations in! Well anyways...

I went to the Christmas in Lights at BLORA here in Texas. It does not compare to Callaway Fantasy in Lights in any way shape or form. Here are a few pics.. sorry they didnt turn out great. We waited an hour to get to the gate, and then it took just over an hour to go thru the whole thing without stopping at Santas Shop. By the end we were so tired!
