So its been awhile....

and I thought I would attempt to load some pics and do some updates. Adam is doing well and is missing home but not as much as I am missing him. I have been in Idaho for almost a month now and still havent found any work. Still no word about the car issue and gearing up to start school in a month.

I have been painting my apartment from the nice light green that my mom loves (and has it all over the house) but I am glad to see she is branching out to more colors! LOL! LOVE YOU MOM!! (she reads this!!)

My dad put chair rail up in the living room and I painted the bottom half a coffee brown and the top cream... unfortunatly I cant find my camera so no pics of that.... I painted an accent wall in the bedroom the same brown and the hallway the same brown....bought new fixtures and dad will be putting them up tommorw!

ok maybe no pictures... I took them with my new webcam on my new laptop and I guess I still havent figured it out yet... sorry!

I am super excited!! I have a REAL job interview on Friday!!! It has been a while since I have had an interview so I hope I do well. Its for a back office position in an Urgent Care Clinic!!

Also Adam and I are now past 300 days!! Why does it feel like its been draggin on and on and on and on and ........................

I will post after the interview and keep your fingers crossed I will post that I got the job!

until we hit 300 days left before Adam came home but realized that its already been awhile since I last blogged.

Some updates are that we are all settling in nicely in the apartment. It snowed Sunday which I wasnt happy about... I miss my 80 degree weather. Mindy and Colin and Isaiah have fit into the family nicely!! and we love having them here with us.

Mindy is heading to New York for a little while next week and I will miss her and the boys terribly.

I have been able to talk to Adam almost everyday by phone and now by IM thru yahoo!! Soon (when I send the laptop) we will be able to see eachother via webcam! So much different than the first 2 times he was there when the communication totally sucked!

Everyone who was sick in the family is better, but now I have a sore throat and cough with sinus problems... ugh...

Job search here totally sucks as well. I thought Killeen was bad for jobs but I was wrong! Ok thats all for now!!

Idaho

After a long 4 days we (my parents and I) have arrived in Idaho. It has been a trying time moving from Texas to Idaho. The day before we were supposed to leave both my parents ended up in the ER in Killeen with Food Poisoning. So we stayed an extra day in Killeen so they could rest.. and to my benifit I found a really cute pair of shoes.....

The next day we went as far as we could before my mom got sick again and we had to stop. Around 2am Dad and I woke to mom not doing so well. She wouldnt wake up and after testing her sugars discovered she was bordering a comma. We called the EMS and she got taken to the hospital. Dad followed and I stayed behind as I was sick myself.

She was not released until 2 pm teh next day, at which time we decided to keep driving. our next night wasnt as bad and we were able to catch up on some sleep giving us enough energy to go for a big push. 11 hours on the road we had had enough.

We stopped with 4 hours remaining on our trip, and it was a good thing we did. Both mom and dad got sick again. Our last 4 hours home were long but we finally made it. As soon as we pulled up Mindy and the boys and me were off to urgent care.

While Mindy and the boys, my sister and boys were waiting for us, Isaiah dislocated his elbow. We saw the PA at Urgent Care who sent us to an Orthopedic Doc asap... he popped it back in and then we went and got a hamburger and fries for Isaiah.

We are done traveling, but still have a lllooonnnggg few days ahead unloading and getting situated. Thanks for all of your support while we were in Texas! Hope to see everyone again!!
